    Air Fryer Buffalo Cauliflower

Air Fryer Buffalo Cauliflower is a delicious flavor-packed cauliflower wing. This is a vegetarian version of buffalo chicken wings but with cauliflower. It's crispy, delicious.

Make this spicy buffalo cauliflower quickly in the air fryer for your next party appetizer. Perfect for game day appetizer or snack too.

I love making everything in the air fryer. I'm amazed how quickly and easily we can make everything that we can bake in the oven. No need to heat up the whole kitchen especially in summers, no need to wait for longer to get healthy low-oil foods.

Not only chicken, frozen items, but the air fryer also makes awesome roasted vegetables whether you cook them individually or medley, they are all roasted to crispy and delicious.

I have made these in my Philips XL air fryer. You can use perforated sheets at the base of the basket but it's optional though.

    Air Fryer Buffalo Cauliflower

Air fryer cauliflower is an easy snack and appetizer that takes less than 30 minutes for the whole preparation and cooking time. For larger amounts make in batches to get crispy, yummy, spicy cauliflower bites. The cauliflower florets are either coated with bread crumbs before coating with hot sauce (buffalo sauce) for extra crispiness or directly coated with hot sauce. Air fryer buffalo cauliflower is an easy, quick snack and appetizer.

For buffalo sauce, you can replace with store-bought buffalo sauce or make it as instructed (takes 2 - 3 minutes though). To adjust the heat, add honey or tomato ketchup to the buffalo sauce. However, it's optional.

You can make this buffalo cauliflower in 2 ways - with breading and without breading.

    Ingredients -

cauliflower florets - cut into bite-sized pieces

flour - all-purpose flour + cornstarch (to make crispy)

melted butter - or olive oil

bread crumbs - panko crumbs for crispy

seasonings - Italian herbs, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Sub- can add cayenne pepper

oil spray - olive oil or avocado oil

    Make Buffalo Sauce -

In a mixing bowl add hot sauce, melted butter, garlic powder, tomato ketchup, or honey (to balance heat). Whisk until mixed. You can also use store-bought buffalo sauce.

    Without Breading -

If you are making the cauliflower wings without breading, that will be easier, also quicker. You just need to add hot sauce or buffalo sauce and a few other seasonings to it. Mix it nicely so that the cauliflower florets are well covered with the sauces before placing them in the air fryer.

With Breading - For Extra Crispy

    - Preheat the air fryer at 400 F.

    - Clean the cauliflower and cut them into bite-sized pieces.

    - Prepare the batter with all-purpose flour and cornstarch. Seasoning with a pinch of salt and paprika. Add milk or water to make the batter. On another plate take panko crumbs along with some seasoning added to it.

    - Take florets one by one, dip them in the batter and then roll on the bread crumbs mix to coat nicely.

    - Spray oil to the basket and place the coated cauliflower in the air fryer basket. Spray oil once from the top.

    - Start the air fryer at 400 F for 10 minutes. Flip the cauliflower in the midways. After 10 minutes, it turns crispy.

    - Transfer the florets to another bowl. Add buffalo sauce to the florets and again place it inside the air fryer and cook for 2 - 3 minutes more.

    - Remove and serve with a favorite dip.

    Extra Tips -

Don't overcrowd the basket. Arrange the florets in a single layer.

To make it low carb, substitute flour batter with egg wash and bread crumbs with almonds flour, and parmesan cheese.

    How To Store & Reheat?

Store the leftover once cooled completely in a refrigerator box or air-tight container for 3 - 5 days. When to reheat, place them back into the air fryer and start at 400 F for 2 - 3 minutes.
