Equipment

  • 1 Air Fryer
  • 1 MIxing Bowl

Ingredients

  • 7 - 8 eggs
  • 2 cups iced water

Additional Seasonings (Optional)

  • salt & pepper to sprinkle as taste
  • cilantro leaves/ parsley leaves for garnish

Instructions

  • First, preheat your air fryer to 270 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Place the eggs in the air fryer basket and cook for about 15 - 17 minutes depending on the doneness you want.
  • Once the eggs are cooked, remove them from the air fryer with help of a spoon or tong with long handle.
  • To cool immediately, transfer the cooked eggs to a bowl of iced water. This will stop overcooking the eggs.
  • Sprinkle some salt and black pepper and enjoy your air fryer hard-boiled eggs.

Notes

1. Set your timing perfect depending on your desired doneness. Again all air fryers cook slightly differently with reference to timings. So first few attempts get your timing perfect.
2. Use an ice water bath. This will stop the eggs from overcooking. However, this is not necessary to do this. You can wait for a few minutes to allow them to cool naturally. But make sure they won't be overcooked.
3. Cook in a batch of 10 - 12 eggs but make sure there is space in between for the air to flow.
4. If the egg has brown spots, don't worry about it. It's not a sign of burnt or overcooked eggs.
