Air Fryer Potato Wedges

Air fryer potato wedges are delicious appetizers made in just 15 minutes.

Equipment

  • 1 Air Fryer
  • Oil Spray optional
  • 1 MIxing Bowl
  • 1 Colander
  • 1 Chopping Board

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb potatoes
  • tsp seasoning mix or 1/2 tsp salt + 1/4 tsp black pepper + 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper + 1/2 tsp garlic powder + 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • tsp olive oil or avocado oil
  • 2 - 3 cup ice or chilled water

Instructions
 

  • Wash and clean the potatoes nicely removing all dirt.
  • Cut the potato into wedges of equal size.
  • Place the wedges into a colander and wash once or twice till you get the clear water.
  • Place them in a large mixing bowl and fill it with iced water.
  • Let it rest for 20 - 30 minutes.
  • Then remove the water and take out the potatoes.
  • Place the potatoes on a kitchen towel and wipe dry with help of a paper napkin or clean kitchen towel.
  • Then place the wedges in a dry bowl and sprinkle the seasoning followed by drizzle of little oil over them.
  • Mix it all thoroughly.
  • In the meanwhile, preheat the air fryer at 400 F for 4 minutes.
  • Transfer the potatoes into the air fryer basket.
  • Start the air fryer at 400 F (200 C) for 15 minutes.
  • Pause in the halfway at 7 minutes and shake the wedges once.
  • Check again at 12 minutes and then take out at 14 - 15 minutes when they reach the desired doneness.
  • Serve hot with any of your favorite dips.
